SOUND ENGINEERING

Trained Sound Engineers are required in many sound-related works. They are in radio stations, Production houses for TV shows, Post-production studios, web-authoring Services, Multimedia authoring, DJ shows and Concert live sound, Sports and news production and live telecast, and most prominently, in film production – both on the location and in studios.

At Atharva Institute of Film and Television Mumbai, we believe in imparting core skill set to every student. Our syllabus is under continuous update as new technologies change the existing paradigm of sound recording, editing, mixing, and design. AIFT students pick up the responsibility for the sound design of student films made at the institute.
